When caregivers are trained in sign language and medical terminology there is better health access for people with hearing impairment. Being able to discuss their needs enables participation in day-to-day activities that would otherwise be a struggle for people with hearing loss. This project in the Democratic Republic of Congo helps ensure people suffering hearing loss are not isolated.
